Isi username axis password 123456 6. finish kemudian dial, jika masih blum bisa masuk ke network connection lagi buka properties network connection yang baru dibuat. ceklis pada modem hp kemudian klik configure pada maximum speed pilih kecepatan yang paling besar. coba dial lagi, jika belum bisa lakukan langakah berikut 1. masuk ke control panel pilih phone and modem 2. kemudian pilih modem hp yang digunakan klik properties 3. kemudian pada tab advance isikan pada extra initialization command at+cgdcont=1,”IP”,”axis” 4. kemudian klik OK Setting Dial Up menggunakan operator CDMA Flexi Ketika laptop atau pc dalam keadaan menyala kita klik START à pilih connect To à kemudian pilih Show all connections. Setelah selesai, kita bisa menggunakan modem smartfren EC1260-2 untuk menghubungkan komputer, laptop, atau netbook ke internet. Cara paling gampang adalah menggunakan network connection. Cara setting dial-up modem smartfren EC1260-2 pada Linux 1. Klik pada icon network connection, kemudian pilih new cdma connection. 2. Setting Dial Up menggunakan operator Starone – Klik Start > Accessories > Communication lalu pilih New Connection Wizard setelah muncul jendela baru, klik Next. – Pilih Connect to internet lalu klik Next. – Pilih Set up my connection manually lalu klik Next. – Pilih CDMA Modem yang tadi udah di intal caranya ada diatas di Wak Google, beri nama koneksi StarOne – Masukkan nomor akses ISP, isi dengan 777 lalu klik Next. – Masukkan username = starone dan passwordnya = indosat. – Centang dua kotak di bagian bawah lalu klik Next. – Ready to browse. Setting Dial Up menggunakan operator Mentari a. Klik Start–>Control Panel–>Network Connection–>New Connetion. Lalu tekan tombol Next. b. Pilih Connect to the Internet, lalu tekan tombol Next c. Pilih Set up my connection manually, lalu tekan tombol Next d. Pilih Connect using a dial-up modem, lalu tekan tombol Next e. Akan terdapat pilihan modem. Kendala ternyata tak berhenti di situ saja, saat saya ingin menghubungkan kompi ke internet, ternyata ikon dial up modem SMART ga aktif/ hilang dari daftar Network Connection. Saya coba untuk set up dial up baru lewat Network Connection Wizard, tetapi ternyata pilihan untuk membuat koneksi dial up tidak aktif, hanya koneksi broadband saja yang diperkenankan.
